You're crossing the road VERY safely!

We are learning about the letter sound "U" and "L"

This week we have been focussing on the letter "Uu" and the letter "LL" 

We are listening for the sounds these letters make in words.

Can you find any words that have the U or L sound?

These sounds could be anywhere in a word!!! 

We are working very hard during our reading groups!

We are so lucky that there are so many people in the community to help us!

This is Sally she works at the Children's Hospital, she is a Nurse.

We know that she uses a stethoscope to check our hearts and our lungs!

This is Jessica, she is a Paramedic, we know that when there is an emergency we can call 000.

She told us its very important to listen to the person on the telephone and to stay calm.

This is Dental Nurse Selma and her helper Abbey, they told us that we need to make sure we eat lots of fruit, vegetables and to drink water and milk. We learnt that we shouldn't eat lolly pops at all! They are terrible for our teeth!
